Service Manager in Nottingham, Nottinghamshire

This hybrid role combines service delivery, technical oversight, stakeholder management and small works across five counties.
The Role
As the Service Manager, you'll:
- Lead safe, compliant delivery of planned and reactive maintenance services.
- Coordinate supply chain partners and deploy suitably qualified, authorised operatives.
- Oversee safe systems of work and review risk assessments and method statements.
- Maintain accurate CAFM records and complete supporting documentation promptly.
- Resolve operational issues and build effective relationships with end users.
- Manage small billable works, produce rough costs and control commercial risk.
- Coach regional teams and embed a positive safety culture.
To be successful as the Service Manager, you'll have:
- Essential practical experience in planned and reactive maintenance environments.
- An HNC or equivalent experience in a relevant building or engineering discipline.
- A management-level Health & Safety qualification, such as SMSTS.
- Strong Microsoft Office and CAFM system skills.
- Essential technical competency and confident stakeholder relationship management skills.
- Ideally, experience delivering small projects.
- The ability to travel and obtain and maintain SC clearance.
- Willingness to undertake Authorised Person responsibilities, with training provided where required.
- £42,000-£45,000 per year.
- Permanent position.
- Hybrid role based in Nottingham, covering five counties.
