Service Manager in Havant, London

Our Repairs and Maintenance team is seeking an experienced Service Manager to join the Guinness Property team in Havant.

This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week, covering operational hours between 8:00 am and 7:00 pm, Monday to Friday, plus Saturday mornings. Later shifts and Saturday coverage are shared on a rota basis.

This role leads and supports an area-based operational team in delivering a high-quality Responsive Repairs service. You will drive performance, ensure excellent customer outcomes, and maintain high standards of service delivery across the team.

We currently operate a hybrid working model, combining office, site-based and home working. A works van will be provided for business use. As this role covers Portsmouth, Waterlooville and the surrounding areas, the successful candidate should be based within these locations or within a reasonable commuting distance to support operational requirements effectively.

What we are looking for

You will have experience leading, managing and developing operational teams, together with a strong understanding of building construction, social housing repairs, and relevant health and safety legislation. You will also have practical trade experience, supported by a relevant NVQ or City & Guilds qualification.

• Experience using repairs management information systems.
