Service Manager

Following a recent review of our management structure, the Charity now has a position for a Service Manager  

This unique service is designed to provide a bespoke service for each retired member of a Religious Congregation in Salford. The purpose of this role is to ensure that the sisters are provided with the highest quality of support by facilitating each person to live an independent and fulfilled life. You will lead a team of staff in the governance of this service through the aims and objectives of the service and ethos of the Charity.  

The Service Manager position is 37.5hpw across the 24/7 continuum and is supernumerary in the day-to-day provision of the service.  

Please note this service is not registered with the CQC but practise is influenced by their guidance.  

What we need from you as a Service Manager   

  • Proven experience in exceptional care of the elderly, and essentially a recognised Health or Social Care qualification  

  • A passion for providing a quality service and “getting it right the first, time for each individual” 

  • Practical experience in managing health related issues in an elderly cohort. 

  • Proven effective leadership and performance management. 

  • Minimum of five years’ experience in care of the elderly.  

  • Experience of developing service development plans with practical experience of change management. 

  • Ability to demonstrate resilience, sound reasoning & decision making. 

  • Experience with the use of Microsoft Office 365 

  • Holder of a full UK driving licence. 

Salary:  

£45,000.00 to £60,000.00 per annum depending on experience and qualifications.
