Service Manager – Learning Disabilities Supported Living

You will provide strong operational and people leadership across a small number of supported living houses within one geographical area, ensuring high standards of care, regulatory compliance and positive outcomes for the people supported.
The Role Based from an office in St Asaph, with regular travel to your allocated services, you will oversee the day-to-day operation of your services and provide effective leadership to your staff teams.
You will be supported by an Assistant Manager and an experienced leadership team, giving you the opportunity to focus on service quality, staff development and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, motivate, supervise and develop staff teams.
- Oversee the day-to-day management of a small portfolio of supported living services.
- Ensure services meet regulatory, safeguarding and quality standards.
- Lead on auditing, compliance and quality assurance.
- Promote outstanding, person-centred support.
- Build strong relationships with the people supported, their families and external professionals.
- Drive continuous improvement and positive outcomes.
- Ensure the people supported have genuine voice, choice and control over their lives.
- Manage and monitor service performance effectively.
- A relevant qualification that enables registration as a Social Care Manager with Social Care Wales.
- Previous experience within a social care management role.
- Strong leadership and people-management skills.
- Good knowledge of safeguarding and regulatory requirements.
- A strong understanding of person-centred approaches.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- The resilience and ability to manage competing priorities.
- A genuine passion for improving outcomes and service quality.
- Permanent contract – 37.5 hours per week
