We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable main dealer in Milton Keynes, for the position of Service Manager. This role offers a unique Service Manager opportunity for an experienced automotive professional to lead a busy Service Department, driving customer satisfaction, team performance, and departmental profitability.

The Service Manager will oversee daily operations within the Service Department, ensuring high standards of service delivery and operational efficiency. Duties:
  • Lead and motivate the Service Department to meet and exceed targets
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the Service and Workshop functions
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through exceptional service standards
  • Monitor departmental performance, productivity, and profitability
  • Coach and develop Service team members to enhance their skills and performance
  • Implement and adhere to company processes and standards
  • Handle customer concerns and complaints effectively
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless customer journey
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Service Manager or Aftersales Manager within the motor trade
  • Strong understanding of automotive Service Department operations
  • Demonstrable experience in managing and developing a team
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Commercial awareness and understanding of departmental KPIs
  • Well-organised with the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous relevant motor trade experience is essential
