Rate: £450 per day
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Service Manager to lead and oversee the Leaving Care Team in Peterborough.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled manager with a strong background in children's services and leaving care provision to make a significant impact on the lives of young people transitioning into adulthood.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and operational management of the Leaving Care Team.
- Ensure high-quality services are delivered in line with statutory requirements and best practice.
- Lead, support, and develop staff to achieve positive outcomes for care leavers.
- Manage performance, budgets, and service improvement initiatives.
- Work collaboratively with partner agencies and stakeholders.
- Significant management experience within Children's Services.
- Strong knowledge of legislation, policy, and practice relating to Leaving Care Services.
- Proven ability to lead teams and drive service improvements.
- Social Work qualification and registration desirable.
