About the Role
As Registered Service Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership and performance of the service.
Working closely with families, professionals and internal stakeholders, you will lead the team to deliver high-quality, person-centred support whilst maintaining full regulatory compliance and driving continuous improvement.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Managing the day-to-day running of the service
• Leading, coaching and developing the staff team
• Driving quality, compliance and service improvement initiatives
• Completing audits, action plans and regulatory reporting
• Managing budgets and service performance
• Ensuring safe, effective and person-centred support is delivered
• Building positive relationships with families, professionals and commissioners
• Supporting recruitment, induction and ongoing development of colleagues
• Preparing the service for future inspections and maintaining high standards of governance
• Participating in the on-call rota as required
What We're Looking For
We are looking for a confident leader who understands high-quality, person-centred care and can take ownership of a regulated service. You may already be a successful Registered Manager, or you may be an experienced Deputy Manager or senior colleague who can demonstrate that you are ready to step up.
You will have:
• Relevant leadership experience within a regulated adult social care setting, either as a Registered Manager or in a Deputy Manager, Assistant Manager or comparable senior role
• Previous CQC registration experience, or the knowledge, capability and commitment to work towards registration with support
• A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or equivalent), or a willingness to work towards it
• Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities and autism
• Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, governance and compliance requirements
• Experience of developing colleagues, contributing to service improvement and promoting consistently high standards
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• A proactive, visible and hands-on leadership style
