Service / MOT Technician in Croydon, Greater London

This is a strong basic salary with realistic earnings on top, in the aftersales team of an established Croydon dealership. The workshop is modern and busy, and management wants technicians who take pride in doing a job properly.

What you'll be doing

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing vehicles to manufacturer standards
• Using current diagnostic equipment to trace and fix faults
• Completing vehicle health checks and recommending any further work
• Carrying out MOT tests if you hold the qualification
• Working efficiently and safely to a consistently high standard
• Helping keep the workshop productive, tidy and professional
• Completing manufacturer training and keeping up with technical bulletins

What we're looking for

• NVQ / City & Guilds Level 2 or Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
• Workshop or dealership experience (preferred)
• Diagnostic experience (an advantage)
• MOT Tester qualification (desirable but not essential)
• A full UK driving licence
• A positive attitude, attention to detail and a commitment to good customer service
• Able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team
