Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working with a well-established business in Shipley who are looking for a Service Administrator to join their team on a temporary, ongoing basis.
This is a varied administration role supporting the Service department and working closely with customers, engineers and internal teams to ensure everything runs smoothly. The role would suit an organised and proactive administrator who is confident communicating with people and able to manage multiple priorities.
The Role:
As a Service Administrator, your responsibilities will include:
- Acting as a key point of contact for customer enquiries via telephone and email.
- Producing estimates for engineers and following up with customers regarding purchase orders and site dates.
- Maintaining the service schedule and coordinating engineer visits, including rearranging appointments where required.
- Arranging travel including flights, car hire and accommodation for service and engineering visits.
- Managing visa applications and supporting documentation for overseas site visits.
- Preparing relevant Health & Safety documentation ahead of customer visits.
- Processing timesheets, visit reports and expenses, ensuring records are accurate and up to date.
- Preparing charge analysis and providing monthly figures to the Finance team.
- Raising and managing warranties and customer complaints, including prioritising urgent warranty issues.
- Supporting new members of the Service team with IT equipment and access.
- Assisting with insurance, travel and corporate credit card queries.
- Liaising with internal departments and providing general administrative support.
About You:
We are looking for someone who has:
- Previous experience within a similar administration role, ideally within a busy team environment.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence dealing with customers by phone and email.
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal English.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- The ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team.
- A flexible and proactive approach with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- Good commercial judgement and a customer-focused approach.
- The ability to learn quickly and take ownership of tasks.
