Setting Out CAD Designer

Location: Nottingham
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 DOE
Job Type: Permanent | Full-Time

A well-established manufacturer of bespoke joinery solutions is looking to recruit an experienced Setting Out CAD Designer to join its growing design team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong joinery background who enjoys producing accurate manufacturing drawings and working on high-quality bespoke projects.

The Role

  • Produce detailed setting out and manufacturing drawings using AutoCAD.

  • Prepare drawings for manufacture, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

  • Interpret architectural drawings and client specifications.

  • Work closely with production and project teams throughout the design process.

  • Generate material schedules/Bills of Materials (BOMs) to support manufacturing.

  • Ensure all drawings and documentation are completed to a high standard and delivered on time.

Essential Requirements

  • Previous experience within the joinery industry is essential.

  • Proficient in AutoCAD.

  • Experience producing setting out and manufacturing drawings.

  • Ability to produce material schedules/Bills of Materials (BOMs).

  • Strong understanding of bespoke joinery manufacturing processes.

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to interpret technical and architectural drawings.
