SETTING OUT ENGINEER

We’re recruiting a Setting Out Engineer to support delivery across major infrastructure and rail projects, including HS2-related works.
This is a hands-on, site-based engineering role, focused on setting out, surveying, and ensuring construction is delivered accurately and to specification.

What you’ll be doing:
- Setting out works in line with drawings and specifications
- Establishing and maintaining survey control and site benchmarks
- Carrying out engineering and as-built surveys
- Verifying dimensions and ensuring compliance with tolerances
- Supporting site teams with technical guidance
- Maintaining accurate engineering and quality records
What we’re looking for:
- Minimum 3 years experience as a Site Engineer or Setting Out Engineer
- Strong knowledge of surveying, setting out, and dimensional control
- Experience using Total Stations, GPS, and survey equipment
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- HS2 or major infrastructure experience desirable
- HNC/HND or Degree in Civil Engineering or Surveying.
- CSCS Professionally Qualified Person Card.
- Full UK Driving Licence
