Sewing Machinist

Major Recruitment are currently recruiting a Sewing Machinist on behalf of a leading global manufacturing company based in Chadderton.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established manufacturer who excel in their industry.

Previous Sewing Machinist experience is essential to be considered for the role.

Key Responsibilities

• Working in a clean room manufacturing environment
• Operating a flat bed sewing machine to sew materials
• Folding and packing
• Ensuring work is carried out to strict quality standards
• Assisting in other areas of production as and when required
• Adhering to site Health and Safety

Contract Type: Temporary to permanent (12 weeks maximum working via agency)

Working hours and Pay Rates:

• Rotating Shifts Monday to Friday 6am - 2.10pm, 2pm - 10.10pm (rotating weekly)
• £13.16 per hour, increasing once fully trained and permanent
