Sewing Machinist

About the Role

Due to an increase in workload, we are looking for an experienced Sewing Machinist  to join our team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-end upholstered furniture, producing quality craftsmanship in a professional workshop environment.

This role focuses on premium furniture, including recliner chairs and other detailed upholstery work. It is not high-volume production or transport seating—attention to detail and a high standard of finish are essential.

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday: 8:00am – 2:30pm

Key Responsibilities

• Upholstering high-quality furniture, including recliner chairs.
• Working with a variety of fabrics, foams, and upholstery materials.
• Producing detailed, high-quality work to exact specifications.
• Inspecting finished products to ensure exceptional standards.
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Requirements

• 10+ years' upholstery experience.
• Proven background in high-quality furniture upholstery.
• Experience with detailed, precision upholstery work.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality finishes.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
