Actio Recruitment are supporting a well‑established fabrications business who are looking for an experienced Sheet Metal Worker to join their high‑precision fabrication team.
The Role
- Fabrication and assembly of complex sheet‑metal parts
- Working from engineering drawings and technical specs
- Using specialist materials
- Thin‑gauge work
- Riveting, sealing and assembling machined/fabricated components
- Inspection, documentation and working to tight tolerances
- Identifying defects and supporting continuous improvement
- Maintaining a clean, safe, 5S‑driven workspace
What You’ll Need
- Strong sheet‑metal background
- Confident with hand tools for cutting, bending and shaping
- Skilled in forming metal
- Able to read drawings
- Quality‑focused
- Strong Health & Safety awareness
Desirable
- Detail‑driven and methodical
- Works well with limited supervision
- Comfortable in a fast‑paced production environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Relevant apprenticeship or Level 3 Fabrication/Welding qualification
