Location: Greenford, North West London
Position Type: Full-time - Temp 2 Perm
Salary: £15-17 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday (40 hours per week)

The Role

We are looking for a skilled Sheet Metal Worker to join a reputable fabrication company, based in Greenford, North West London. The ideal person will have a solid background within sheet metal fabrication, with experience working on brake presses, turrett punch presses, bandsaws, and welding equipment.

About Our Client

The company specialises in the design and manufacture of enclosures, instrument cases and other housings for the electronics industry. Their product portfolio also includes a wide range of moulded and metal enclosures together with in-house customisation capabilities where required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating a range of machinery, including brake presses, hydraulic presses, fly presses, bench drills, turret presses, bandsaws, and welding equipment.

• Reading and understanding detailed engineering drawings.

• Working to tight tolerances.
   

What We Are Looking For:

• Previous experience using the machinery listed above is required.

• Ability to read and understand detailed engineering drawings.

• Ability to work to tight tolerances.

• To be able to understand verbal and written instructions and to be able to fully integrate within the existing team.

• Be physically able to work in a small factory environment and to be able to lift and move materials, tooling, etc.
   

What’s on Offer?

• Base hourly rate of £15-17, dependent on experience.
• 5% company pension contribution.
• Early finish on Fridays.
• Overtime paid at time-and-a-half.
• 22 days annual leave, plus bank holidays.
