EMBS Engineering is in partnership with a reputable engineering company located south of Birmingham which is a globally recognised, market-leading precision engineering/manufacturing business that supports world-renowned industry leaders.

As part of the company's growth, our client is looking for a skilled Sheet Metal Worker to join the team on a permanent basis.

  • Late shift, 16.30 to 2.30 (Monday to Thursday) with designated breaks

Your responsibilities include:

• Working with various metals and performing various Sheet Metal / Fabrication / Metal Working techniques, such as riveting, spot welding, bonding, and brazing, to complete the required components 
• Carrying out a wide range of manufacturing methods, such as hand forming, grinding, and stretching, for the construction of each part 
• Working to tight tolerances using thin-gauge materials such as aluminium 
• Reading and working off complex engineering drawings

​​​​Successful applicants MUST be able to demonstrate:
​​​​​

• ​​Previous Sheet Metal or fabrication experience
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Ability to use hand and air tools effectively & safely
• Previous experience of deburring, fettling, polishing, linishing, etc
