Title:Sheltered Housing Officer

Contract: This is a temporary ongoing opportunity 

Hours: 35 per week Monday to Friday 

Salary: PAYE £19.75 per hour or UMBRELLA £26.11 per hour 

About the role:

You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day running of the scheme or older adults, working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a high-quality, responsive service. From managing health and safety to supporting social engagement, you’ll play a vital role in creating a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the scheme
• Support residents with tenancy plans and scheme inductions
• Assess and manage risks including fire safety and health & safety
• Maintain accurate records and uphold scheme security
• Report and follow up on repairs, prioritising safety-related issues
• Maintain professional boundaries and ensure safeguarding protocols are followed

About the Candidate:

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Experience supporting vulnerble people in a social housing setting.
• Knowledge of welfare benefits and housing management. (Desirable)
• Confidence working with statutory and voluntary agencies.
• Experience in property management
