Shift Engineer

You'll work alongside a Shift Lead, maintaining critical building systems and supporting reliable site operations. Data centre experience is preferred, although engineers from other critical environments will also be considered.
The Role
As the Shift Engineer, you'll:
- Maintain critical electrical and building services systems.
- Complete planned and reactive maintenance across the site.
- Respond to faults, breakdowns and critical engineering issues.
- Carry out inspections and ensure systems remain safe and compliant.
- Work alongside the Shift Lead to maintain operational resilience.
- Support additional shift cover and overtime when required.
To be successful as the Shift Engineer, you'll have:
- Recognised UK electrical qualifications, ideally City & Guilds Parts 1 and 2.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
- Electrical maintenance experience within data centres or critical environments.
- Strong fault-finding skills across electrical and building services systems.
- HV experience or an existing HV qualification would be advantageous.
- A strong understanding of working within business-critical environments.
