A Shift Engineer - Mechanical Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance on mechanical systems and equipment.
- Respond promptly to reactive maintenance issues and repair faults effectively.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
- Support the smooth operation of building services, including HVAC and plumbing systems.
- Collaborate with the wider facilities management team to resolve technical issues.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential mechanical problems.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and ensure documentation is up to date.
- Provide technical advice and support to ensure effective operations.
Profile
A successful Shift Engineer - Mechanical should have:
- Relevant qualifications in mechanical engineering or a related field.
- Experience working within facilities management or building services.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a methodical approach to maintenance tasks.
- Knowledge of health and safety standards and regulations.
