An excellent opportunity has become available for an experienced Shift Leader to join the engineering team within a prestigious, highly critical commercial environment in Canary Wharf.

The Role

You will lead the engineering shift team and help ensure the safe and reliable operation of critical mechanical and electrical infrastructure.

Responsibilities will include:

• Leading and coordinating engineers on shift

• Planned and reactive maintenance

• Responding to critical alarms and incidents

• Managing engineering escalations

• Plant monitoring and site rounds

• Supporting shutdowns and high-risk works

• Ensuring safe systems of work are followed

• Maintaining high engineering and compliance standards

Experience Required

We are looking for an experienced engineer with a strong technical background within a critical or high-profile M&E environment.

Experience within any of the following would be particularly relevant:

• Critical banking or financial sites

• Data centres

• Mission-critical facilities

• Large corporate headquarters

• High-profile commercial buildings

Candidates may currently work as a Shift Leader, Shift Supervisor, Lead Shift Engineer, Critical Services Engineer, Critical Services Supervisor or Senior Shift Engineer.
