Shift Plumber / Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) in a timely and efficient manner.
- Complete reactive maintenance works promptly and effectively.
- Diagnose and repair plumbing and mechanical faults.
- Carry out basin, tap and sanitaryware replacements.
- Undertake general building services and mechanical maintenance.
- Complete minor fabric works, including repairs to doors, locks and fixtures.
- Ensure the site and associated plant and equipment remain fully operational.
- Respond to maintenance issues and emergencies as required.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete relevant documentation.
- Ensure all works comply with Health & Safety and site compliance requirements.
- Work effectively as part of a professional shift maintenance team.
- City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Plumber, Shift Plumber or Mechanical Maintenance Engineer.
- Strong practical knowledge of plumbing and mechanical building services.
- Experience with both PPM and reactive maintenance.
- Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of Health & Safety and compliance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a shift team.
