Our SE based client develop and manufacture a range of Healthcare products, they are currently recruiting for a shift-based Production Manager.
Duties for this role will include :
- Ensuring production timelines run smoothly and efficiently
- Acting as site manufacturing lead when working day or night shifts
- Utilising software tools to keep up to date with deadlines and drive efficiencies across the team and delivery
- Responsibility for both shift team members during shift hours and out-of-hours staff
- Ensuring training records are maintained / updated for staff, escalating training needs as and when required
- Implementing Lean manufacturing strategies to support project improvements
- Liaising with onsite shift based engineering teams
- Ensuring standards are maintained within the team, time keeping , quality , behaviour
- Understanding key / critical changes to work flow and ensuring fluent communication within a busy , high throughput manufacturing environment
- Woking on both dedicated day and night shifts including weekend work
