Shop Floor Operative

As a Shop Floor Operative, you'll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of our manufacturing operations. You'll be working across multiple departments, gaining experience in different production processes while helping us deliver high-quality products to our customers.

This is a varied and active role that requires flexibility, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a busy manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently (full training provided where required).
• Work across different production and manufacturing areas as business needs dictate.
• Assemble, pack, inspect, and prepare products to quality standards.
• Carry out quality checks and report any issues promptly.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
• Follow production schedules and meet daily targets.
• Adhere to all health and safety procedures and company policies.
• Support colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment.
• Assist with general shop floor duties as required.

You'll ideally have:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, warehouse, or factory environment (preferred but not essential).
• A strong work ethic and a reliable approach.
• Flexibility to work across different departments and tasks.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills.
• Good communication skills.
• The ability to work in a physically active role.
