Rate: £23-£25 per hour (DOE)
Hours: 7 days per week,12 hours per day
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Joiner to work on a shop fit-out project in York, starting 21st September 2026.
This is a 4-week project offering consistent work, with shifts running 7 days a week and approximately 9-10 hours per day.
Duties
- Installing internal doors and door frames
- Fitting architraves
- Installing pre-built counters
- General 2nd fix joinery
- Assisting with other joinery aspects of the shop fit-out
- Working from drawings and site instructions where required
- Maintaining a clean and safe working area
Requirements
- CSCS card - essential
- Proven experience as a Joiner
- Previous commercial/shop fit-out experience preferred
- Own tools
- Reliable and hard-working
- Able to commit to 7 days per week
- Good attitude and strong work ethic
