Location: Hyde
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
Salary: Dependent on Experience £13 - £15 

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a Shot Blaster / Industrial Cleaner to join a busy manufacturing team. This hands-on role involves preparing metal components through chemical cleaning, spraying, and shot blasting processes to ensure products meet quality standards before moving through production.

This is a physically active role suited to someone who enjoys practical work and is comfortable working within an industrial manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating shot blasting equipment to clean and prepare metal components
• Carrying out chemical cleaning and treatment processes safely and effectively
• Spraying products and components in line with production requirements
• Preparing surfaces for further manufacturing processes
• Inspecting finished work to ensure quality standards are met
• Loading and unloading materials and components
• Maintaining equipment and ensuring work areas are kept clean and organised
• Following health and safety procedures at all times
• Assisting with general production duties when required

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience within shot blasting, industrial cleaning, spraying, manufacturing, or a similar environment is desirable
• Ability to work safely with chemicals and industrial equipment
• Good attention to detail and quality standards
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling duties
• Reliable with a strong work ethic
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to learn and undertake training where required
