Shunter driver

Interaction Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Shunter Driver to join our client in Spalding.

If you have previous shunter or yard driver experience and are looking for immediate night shifts with competitive pay, we'd love to hear from you.

• £16.00 per hour

• 17:00 – 05:00
• Night shifts

• Moving trailers on and off loading bays.
• Carrying out trailer safety checks to ensure trailers are safe and ready for loading.
• Managing the yard and ensuring trailers are parked in the correct locations.
• Completing trailer tranships between 03:00 and 05:00 once the warehouse team have finished.
• Assisting with occasional warehouse duties, including loading and unloading trailers, during busy periods.

• Previous shunter/yard driver experience is essential.
• Good understanding of trailer safety checks and yard operations.
• Reliable, safety-conscious and able to work independently.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.

We are currently looking for cover on the following dates:

• Tuesday 4th August – Friday 7th August
• Monday 10th August – Monday 17th August

There is potential for ongoing work and additional shifts beyond these dates, depending on business needs.
