C+E SHUNTER DRIVER – LEEDS

We are currently recruiting for an experienced C+E Shunter Driver to join a well-known and established doors company based in Leeds.

This is a 12-week temp-to-permanent position, offering a long-term opportunity for the right candidate.

The position:

• Job Title: C+E Shunter Driver
• Location: Leeds
• Shift Pattern: Friday to Monday
• Hours: 18:00 – 06:00
• 12 hours per shift
• 48 hours per week
• Temporary Pay: £16.00 per hour
• Contract: 12 weeks temp to perm
• Permanent Salary: £38,272 per annum

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out shunting duties on site, moving trailers safely and efficiently and supporting the day-to-day transport operation.

You will be working as part of an established team, so a good attitude, reliability and the ability to work well with others are essential.

What we are looking for:

• Full and valid C+E licence
• Previous shunting experience is preferred
• Good understanding of yard and site safety
• Reliable and dependable
• Good communication skills
• Able to work Friday to Monday, 18:00–06:00
• A professional approach to work
