We are currently recruiting for 2 experienced Shuttering Formwork Supervisors / Black Hat Working Foremen / Site Managers for a major construction project in Coventry.
Role Overview
You will be responsible for leading a team of operatives on site, ensuring all works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to programme. This is a hands-on leadership role on a live construction environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervising shuttering / formwork gangs on site
- Running daily briefings and toolbox talks
- Ensuring full site health & safety compliance at all times
- Coordinating daily site activities and labour allocation
- Ordering and managing materials as required
- Leading a team of approximately 15 operatives
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and productivity
- Working closely with site management and project delivery teams
Requirements
- Valid Black Hat CSCS card (essential)
- Strong background in carpentry / shuttering / formwork
- Proven experience as a working foreman or supervisor
- Ability to lead teams and manage site safely
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Experience on civil engineering / infrastructure projects (desirable)
