We are currently seeking an experienced Side Loader Forklift Driver to join a leading manufacturing company, supporting the Dispatch department. This role is ideal for a reliable and safety-conscious individual with previous experience operating side loader trucks in a busy manufacturing or warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a Side Loader Forklift Truck safely and efficiently to transport long and oversized materials.
- Load and unload vehicles for inbound and outbound deliveries.
- Support the Dispatch department by preparing and loading customer orders accurately and on time.
- Carry out stock movements and ensure products are stored correctly.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and comply with all health and safety procedures.
- Work closely with warehouse and production teams to ensure smooth daily operations.
- A valid, in-date Side Loader Forklift Truck licence is essential.
- Previous experience operating a Side Loader Forklift Truck within a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
- A strong understanding of health and safety procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
- Good communication skills and a proactive approach to work.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Competitive pay rate of £13.80 per hour.
