Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm

About the Role

We are recruiting for an experienced Sign Fitter to join an established and growing signage business based in the Leeds area.

This is a great opportunity for a skilled fitter who enjoys working on a variety of signage projects but doesn't want to be away from home every week.

The majority of the work is carried out locally across the M62 corridor, with occasional nationwide work and overnight stays when required.

You will work as part of a two-person fitting team, partnered with a Fitter's Mate, and will be responsible for leading the vehicle and ensuring installations are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

* Installing a wide range of internal and external signage
* Working alongside a Fitter's Mate on installation projects
* Leading the company van and travelling to customer sites
* Reading and working from job specifications and installation drawings
* Measuring, positioning and securely fixing signage
* Liaising professionally with customers and site contacts
* Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard
* Following company Health & Safety procedures
* Travelling throughout the M62 corridor, with occasional overnight stays when required

About You

The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Sign Fitter, Sign Installer or similar and be confident working independently and as part of a small installation team.

You will need:

* Previous signage fitting/installation experience
* A valid CSCS card
* A full UK driving licence
* Good attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
* A reliable and professional approach
* The ability to work independently and take responsibility on-site
* Flexibility around working hours depending on project requirements
