Site Agent - Civils

We are working with a well-established and respected Scottish construction and civil engineering contractor to assist them in hiring a Site Agent for their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Site Agent to join a growing project team delivering a range of civil engineering and construction projects across Scotland. The successful candidate will take a lead role in the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, to programme and in line with the required quality standards.

As the Site Agent your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Managing and coordinating the day-to-day delivery of works on site
• Leading site teams and coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and specialist contractors
• Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with programme, drawings, specifications and quality requirements
• Monitoring progress, productivity, resources and site performance
• Maintaining high standards of health, safety, environmental and quality compliance
• Working closely with the Project Manager, Engineers, Commercial team, client representatives and wider project stakeholders

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate:

• Previous experience working as a Site Agent, Sub-Agent or Senior Site Manager within civil engineering or construction
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, sequencing and project delivery
• Proven experience managing site teams and subcontractors
• A strong understanding of health, safety, quality and environmental requirements
• Excellent leadership, communication, organisational and problem-solving skills
