Site Agent

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Site Agent to join a well-established civil engineering contractor delivering active travel, highways and bridge projects. This permanent position offers the chance to lead site operations on a varied portfolio of infrastructure schemes, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and to the highest quality standards.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of site activities, coordinating labour, plant, subcontractors and materials to ensure efficient project delivery. Duties include maintaining health and safety standards, monitoring programme progress, managing site documentation, liaising with clients and stakeholders, and ensuring works are completed in accordance with specification and budget.

• Previous experience as a Site Agent within civil engineering.
• Proven delivery of active travel, highways, roads and bridge projects.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and site management practices.
• Excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills.
• Relevant industry qualifications, including SMSTS and CSCS, with First Aid certification desirable.
