The Role
As a Site Agent, you’ll take a leading role on site, coordinating teams and subcontractors while ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with programme, budget and quality requirements.
You’ll work closely with clients, project teams and the wider business, taking ownership of day-to-day site performance and keeping delivery moving in the right direction.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing daily site operations and coordinating project activities
- Leading site teams and overseeing subcontractor performance
- Chairing client, progress and site meetings
- Preparing short-term programmes and look-ahead schedules
- Reviewing RAMS and maintaining high health and safety standards
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
- Monitoring progress against programme and project requirements
- Maintaining quality assurance throughout the construction process
- Working collaboratively with commercial, engineering and operational teams
You’ll be an experienced Site Agent with a proven background in delivering civil engineering projects for a main contractor.
You’ll ideally bring:
- A degree in Civil Engineering
- Previous experience working for a civil engineering main contractor
- A background across highways, infrastructure and/or structural projects
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Clear and confident communication
- Good commercial awareness
- A proactive approach to solving site and delivery challenges
- A strong commitment to health, safety, quality and compliance
