Site Agent/Manager

Red Sky Personnel are recruiting an experienced Site Manager for a self-delivery civils contractor working on a large converter station project in the Hull area. The client is delivering the roads, civils and reinforced concrete (RC) packages on this project, with Section 278 highway works due to start in mid-October.

The Role

• Managing day-to-day site operations across the roads, civils and RC packages on a major converter station project in the Hull area.
• Overseeing the start of Section 278 highway works from mid-October, ensuring works are delivered safely, to programme and in line with the highway authority agreement.
• Managing the client’s self-delivery workforce, plus any specialist subcontractors, across civils, roads and RC activities.
• Ensuring quality, health & safety and environmental standards are maintained and enforced across all site activities.
• Coordinating closely with the wider project team, client and other stakeholders to keep the programme on track.
• Maintaining site records, RAMS, inspections and progress reporting.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as a Site Manager on civils, roads and/or RC packages, ideally on major infrastructure or energy projects.
• Experience of Section 278 highway works (or similar highway authority agreement works) is highly desirable.
• SMSTS and a valid CSCS card (Manager level).
• Relevant First Aid certification (e.g. SSSTS/First Aid at Work).
• Strong understanding of civils and RC construction methods and quality standards.
• Full right to work in the UK.
