Site Agent

Pinnacle Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Site Agent to join a leading civil engineering contractor delivering major water infrastructure projects across the Thames Valley region as part of the AMP8 investment programme.

You'll take responsibility for the safe, efficient and successful delivery of projects including clean water, wastewater, treatment works and network infrastructure schemes. AMP8 represents a significant period of investment in water and wastewater infrastructure across the Thames Valley, with a strong focus on resilience, environmental performance and network upgrades.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day delivery of water infrastructure projects from start to completion.
• Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
• Lead site teams, subcontractors and supply chain partners.
• Produce and manage short-term programmes and site documentation.
• Monitor project progress and report on programme, commercial and operational performance.
• Ensure compliance with NEC contracts, specifications and client requirements.
• Manage health, safety, environmental and quality standards across all site activities.
• Liaise with Project Managers, Engineers, Quantity Surveyors and client representatives.
• Coordinate labour, plant, materials and temporary works.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation measures.
• Support the commercial team with cost control, change management and forecasting.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Site Agent within civil engineering or utilities.
• Strong background delivering water or wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Good understanding of NEC contracts.
• Experience managing subcontractors and direct labour.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Desirable

• HNC/HND or Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Temporary Works Coordinator.
• NRSWA Supervisor.
• Experience delivering projects within AMP frameworks
