Site Agent in Portsmouth, Hampshire

Randstad CPE are currently recruiting for a Site Agent to oversee a new Rail bridge project in Portsmouth.

The successful candidate will have a Rail background with experience working for a PC or Tier 1 main Contractor

** Rate: £500- £550 CIS / LTD - Outside IR35 **

Duties Include:

• Subcontractor and Engineering Staff Management : Oversee Specialist Subcontractors and in-house Site / Section engineers

• Commercial & Cost Control: Track daily operational costs, plant hire, and material usage, and record scope variations

• Programme Delivery: Drive short-term operational schedules (e.g., 3-week look-aheads) and monitor daily output in line with the main contractor's master programme.

• Strict Safety & Compliance: Enforce site-specific health and safety protocols (RAMS, daily briefings, inductions) and ensure all direct operatives comply with industry regulations.

• Quality & Technical Assurance: Ensure work matches engineering drawings and specifications, and manage the quality sign-off processes (ITPs)

This role is paid CIS or LTD Outside IR35
