My client are a specialist civil engineering contractor who are currently seeking a Site Agent to help deliver a major water infrastructure scheme in Bournemouth, with an immediate start available. This is an excellent opportunity to join a complex project involving caisson shafts, auger boring, sheeted pits, and associated heavy civil engineering works.
Site Agent Responsibilities:
- Toolbox talks
- Client liaison
- Stakeholder liaison
- Health and safety compliance
- Ordering materials
- Managing day-to-day site operations
- Supervising subcontractors and site teams
- Managing the delivery of caisson shafts, auger bores, sheeted pits, and associated civils works
- Ensuring works are delivered on programme and to specification
- Managing site documentation, RAMS, permits, and temporary works
- Overseeing quality control, inspections, and as-built records
- Supporting the Project Manager with programme delivery and client reporting
Site Agent Requirements:
- Black or Gold CSCS
- SMSTS
- Previous experience managing water infrastructure or water treatment schemes
- Experience delivering caisson shafts, auger boring, sheet piling/sheeted pits, deep excavations, or other specialist trenchless/tunnelling works
- Strong civil engineering background
- Knowledge of temporary works procedures would be advantageous
- IT literate
- Full UK driving licence
