We're recruiting for a Site Chemist to join a leading waste management company in Stoke-on-Trent. This is a great opportunity for someone with a Chemistry or Environmental Science degree and experience within the waste management industry to develop their career with a growing business.
The Role
- Manage the safe handling, storage, and processing of waste materials.
- Prepare hazardous waste for treatment and onward disposal.
- Ensure compliance with environmental legislation and site permits.
- Maintain accurate waste documentation and full traceability.
- Promote high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance.
About You
- Degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
- Experience within the waste management industry.
- Previous Site Chemist experience is desirable.
- Good understanding of Health & Safety procedures.
- IOSH and FLT licences are advantageous but not essential.
