Site Engineer

Abatec is recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer on a freelance basis to join our client, a well-established civil engineering contractor, to work on a project near Bristol that will generate £140m a year for the local economy.

This is an opportunity to be a part of a large-scale earthworks project, with huge potential to uplift your existing career as an experienced Site Engineer.

This is a big opportunity to secure a long-term contract on a technically interesting and high-value project over a 7-year framework.

As a Site Engineer you will:

· Have multiple years’ experience in Civil Engineering.

. Understand structures and formations.

. Ensure that quality, safety, and programme requirements are met.

Our client requires a Site Engineer with:

· Have experience of setting out for earthworks and knowledge of RC structures.

. Valid CSCS and experience within infrastructure.

. Be able to set out and level using Total Stations/GPS/Machine Control

. Excellent communication skills.

· HND/HNC/Degree in Civil Engineering.

. A good understating of CDM and construction health & safety protocols

. Experience working on Civil Engineering projects that involve bulk earthworks and setting-out

Salary and benefits include:

£325 - £375 a day LTD
