Rate: £350 per day

Bond Recruit are currently looking for an experienced Site Engineer for a 4-month freelance position in Newcastle.
The project is working with an established civil engineering contractor delivering Section 278 works, including highways, drainage, kerbing and associated infrastructure works.
Responsibilities
- Setting out for highways, drainage, kerbs and associated civils works
- Working from drawings and specifications
- Producing and maintaining accurate site records
- Quality assurance and as-built surveys
- Liaising with site management, subcontractors and the wider project team
- Ensuring works are delivered accurately and safely
Requirements
- Previous Site Engineer experience on civil engineering projects
- Strong experience with Section 278 / highways works
- Confident using robotic total stations and GPS
- CSCS card
- Own laptop with AutoCAD preferred
- Able to work independently on site
Rate: £350 per day
Duration: Approximately 4 months
