Bond Recruit are currently looking for an experienced Site Engineer to join a large and established groundworks contractor on a major project in Central London.

The project involves the delivery of a steel-frame industrial unit, with the engineer responsible for the groundworks and associated civil engineering package.

Responsibilities

• Setting out groundworks, foundations, drainage and external works

• Setting out holding-down bolts and steel frame foundations

• Carrying out levels, surveys and as-built information

• Quality assurance and maintaining accurate site records

• Working from drawings and specifications

• Liaising with site management and subcontractors

• Ensuring works are completed accurately and to programme

Requirements

• Strong Site Engineer experience

• Previous experience working for a groundworks contractor

• Experience on steel-frame / industrial projects preferred

• Confident using robotic total stations and GPS

• CSCS card

• Own laptop with AutoCAD

• Able to work independently and manage engineering requirements on site
