Site Engineer – Groundworks & Civil Engineering

We are recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join an established groundworks and civil engineering contractor on a permanent basis.

This is a roaming engineering role, working across multiple projects throughout London and the Home Counties. You will work closely with Site Managers and Contracts Managers, providing engineering and technical support across the company’s projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Setting out groundworks and civil engineering packages

• Setting out drainage, foundations, roads, kerbs and external works

• Checking levels, coordinates and construction drawings

• Producing and maintaining QA documentation

• Supporting Site Managers and Contracts Managers

• Resolving engineering and technical issues on site

• Checking subcontractor works and setting out

• Travelling between projects depending on engineering requirements

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Site Engineer

• Strong groundworks and civil engineering experience

• Confident setting out using robotic total stations and GPS

• Good understanding of construction drawings and QA

• CSCS card

• Full UK driving licence

• Flexible approach and comfortable travelling between sites
