Site Engineer – Battery Storage Project – Kilmarnock

Location: Kilmarnock, East Ayrshire
Contract: Minimum 12 months
Rate: £350–£400 per day
Start Date: ASAP

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to work on a large-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in Kilmarnock.

This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term contract on a major renewable energy infrastructure project.

Key Responsibilities

• Setting out for civil engineering works, including foundations, drainage, ducting and access roads.

• Ensuring works are completed in accordance with drawings and specifications.

• Carrying out quality checks and maintaining site records.

• Liaising with site management, subcontractors and project teams.

• Supporting the delivery of works safely and on programme.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Site Engineer on civil engineering projects.

• Proficient in setting out using GPS and total stations.

• Experience with concrete works, drainage and ducting.

• CSCS card.

• Previous experience on energy or infrastructure projects would be advantageous.
