Site Engineer

My client is a Tier 1 Construction Company.

They are presently delivering a major (£200m+) Civil Engineering project near Witney, just west of Oxford and are looking to add a freelance Site Engineer to their existing team.

This is a long-term contract opportunity of at least 6+ months.

Due to the fast-track nature of this project, my client is looking for an individual to work 12 shifts on, 2 days off pattern of 10 hours a day initially rising to 12 hours per day. The company is prepared to offer generous rate uplifts and plenty of overtime.

*Due to the extremely high level of security on this project the client can only consider British Nationals for the role.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Setting out roads, structures and drainage with surveying equipment (GPS & Robotic Total Stations)
• Assist with quality control to ensure the standards are met in accordance to the design specifications
• Assist in producing permits to break ground (CAT Scanning management)
• Ensuring the highest health, safety and environmental standards are met on site adhering to the client’s and business’s requirement
• Liaise with the site team to approve materials ensuring they meet specification
• Keep accurate records of progress reports, site diaries and resource allocations
• Produce as-built drawings in AutoCAD.
