We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to support the delivery of a major city centre public realm and infrastructure improvement scheme in Sheffield.

This long-term project forms part of a wider programme of works focused on transforming the city centre through the construction of high-quality paving, footways, cycle routes, street lighting, and associated infrastructure. With a significant pipeline of follow-on works already secured, this is an excellent opportunity to join an established project team delivering high-profile urban regeneration works.

Working within a self-delivery environment, you will be responsible for setting out, quality assurance, site documentation, RAMS, and supporting the day-to-day engineering requirements of the project. You will also play an important role in mentoring a junior engineer, providing technical guidance and supporting their development while remaining actively involved in site engineering activities.

The successful candidate will have a strong civil engineering background and experience delivering highways, public realm, infrastructure, or urban environment projects. You should be comfortable interpreting drawings, identifying practical construction solutions, maintaining site records, and working closely with operational teams to ensure works are delivered safely and efficiently.

To be considered, you will have previous experience working as a Site Engineer on civil engineering or infrastructure projects and be confident operating within a busy site environment.
