Site / Project Engineer – Long-Term Freelance Opportunity

I’m currently assisting a well-established Developer with their search for a Site / Project Engineer to join their team on a long-term freelance basis.

The role will be site-based and will primarily involve working on the RC Frame, with a strong focus on setting out, gridlines and ensuring works are delivered accurately and to programme.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Site / Project Engineer looking for a long-term freelance position, with the opportunity to build a strong relationship with a reputable Developer and grow with the business.

Key responsibilities:

• Setting out gridlines and structural elements
• Working closely with the RC Frame contractor
• Checking dimensions, levels and coordinates
• Ensuring works are set out accurately and in accordance with drawings
• Liaising with site management, subcontractors and the wider project team
• Carrying out quality checks and maintaining accurate site records
• Supporting the smooth delivery of the project from an engineering perspective

The ideal candidate:

• Previous experience as a Site Engineer or Project Engineer
• Strong setting out experience
• Experience working on RC Frame projects
• Confident reading and interpreting technical drawings
• Good knowledge of levels, coordinates and gridlines
• Able to work independently and communicate effectively with site teams
• Reliable and looking for a long-term freelance opportunity
