Site Engineer

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Engineer to join an ongoing specialist precast project in Devon.

This is a hands-on, site-based opportunity for an engineer with solid precast experience who is confident working alongside the site team and supporting the installation of precast elements.

You’ll play a key role in ensuring the precast installation is delivered accurately and efficiently, with responsibility for setting out, levels, alignment and supporting the site team. 

THE ROLE

• Setting out and level checking for precast panels and elements
• Working closely with the team during the installation of precast elements
• Checking levels, dimensions, alignment and tolerances
• Reading and interpreting engineering and precast drawings
• Using AutoCAD on site where required
• Supporting the Site Manager and wider site team throughout the works
• Carrying out general site engineering duties associated with precast installation
• Working closely with the team to ensure all works are completed safely, accurately and efficiently

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

• Previous precast experience is essential
• Confident using levels and surveying equipment
• Strong AutoCAD experience
• Own laptop suitable for site use
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
• Based within a reasonable commuting distance of the site in Devon
• Good understanding of engineering drawings, setting out and site tolerances
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
