Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 5 days per week 

Keyman Personnel, part of the KTS Group, are currently recruiting for an experienced Freelance Site Engineer to work on a 6-storey reinforced concrete (RC) frame project in Camden, London, on behalf of our client.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Site Engineer with strong RC frame experience, a valid Temporary Works Coordinator (TWC) ticket and experience using a TS06 Total Station.

The Opportunity

As a Freelance Site Engineer, you will be responsible for setting out and engineering duties associated with the construction of a 6-storey RC frame, working closely with the site management team to ensure works are delivered accurately and in accordance with drawings, specifications and programme requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Setting out, levelling and surveying for reinforced concrete frame works

• Working accurately from engineering drawings and specifications

• Using a TS06 Total Station for setting out and surveying

• Coordinating and calling off reinforcement steel and concrete deliveries

• Undertaking Temporary Works Coordinator responsibilities

• Carrying out dimensional checks, surveys and as-built records

• Maintaining accurate QA/QC documentation and site records

• Liaising with site management, subcontractors and other members of the project team

• Ensuring works are completed accurately and in accordance with required quality and safety standards

Qualifications & Experience

• Proven UK experience as a Site Engineer / Setting Out Engineer

• Previous RC frame experience – essential

• Valid Temporary Works Coordinator (TWC) ticket – essential

• Confident and competent using a TS06 Total Station – essential

• Experience calling off steel and concrete – essential

• Strong setting out and surveying experience

• Ability to read and interpret construction and engineering drawings

• Good understanding of QA procedures and site documentation

• Able to work independently within a busy construction environment

• Available to start immediately
