Site Engineer

Our client is well-established, specialist contractor that specialises in all aspects of groundworks and reinforced concrete sub-structures and super-structures. With new projects starting in London, they are recruiting for a Site / Setting out Engineer.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Reporting directly to the Project Manager and Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for setting out
  • Quality control
  • Surveying and ensuring works are delivered in accordance with the design and programme requirements.
  • The successful candidate will work closely with site management teams, subcontractors and clients to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working for a Civil Engineering, RC Frame or Groundworks contractor is essential
  • Strong setting out experience across groundworks and reinforced concrete frame projects
  • Ability to interpret drawings and manage technical queries on site
  • Experience carrying out QA checks and maintaining accurate site records
  • Competent using Leica, Trimble or equivalent surveying equipment
  • Degree or HNC/HND qualified in Civil Engineering or a related construction discipline
  • Minimum 2 years' experience working as a Site Engineer
