Role Overview

My tier one highways contractor client are looking for a Site Engineer to support ongoing highways works on the A50 DBFO scheme. This is a night‑shift role running through September and October, with a chance of extension.

Key Responsibilities

  • Setting out - highways environment

  • Basic surveying and site measurements

  • Site records and documentation

  • Holding and issuing permits - dig permits and hot works

  • Scanning and identifying services

  • Safe digging practices - essential on live highways works


Details:

  • DBFO A50 works

  • Night shifts throughout September and October




Requirements

  • EUSR 1 and 2

  • SSTS

  • CSCS

  • Highways passport preferred (not essential)




Contract Details

  • Start date ASAP

  • £490 per shift (umbrella)

  • Two months, possible extension

  • Inside IR35

  • Tier 1 contractor
